Danfodio Corporation was established in 1981 AD as an investment facility in the field of contracting (buildings and roads), and it established a general trade wing that witnessed active activity in the field of import and export. The company has also invested in several sectors, such as industry, transportation, commercial agencies, agricultural investment, and others. Due to the economic openness in the country and the multiplicity of Danfodio companies, the idea of the holding company came about a quarter of a century after the entry into various commercial, industrial and agricultural activities, to be an engine dynamo that manages and organizes the work of the group’s companies.
